Since I was young, I've been passionate about investing in stocks, and that interest blossomed into a professional career. Before joining Paragon Capital Management in 1998, I spent 15 years as an Account Executive at Standard & Poor's. My experience there was dedicated to marketing and supporting institutional money management firms to develop quantitative equity models. I received my degree from the University of Wyoming and I am a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Colorado.
What I enjoy most about my job are the long-term relationships I have developed with clients. Knowing I've been an integral part of helping them achieve their financial goals and providing guidance during their career and retirement has been personally rewarding.
I am originally from Pottstown, PA, but after attending school in Wyoming and skiing in the Rockies, I knew my East Coast days were over. I have been married to Michelle for 25 years, and we have two children, Madison and Grant. Madison just graduated with a BS in Nursing and started her career in Milwaukee, and Grant is a junior at the University of Wyoming studying construction management. I am a lifelong triathlete and enjoy running, cycling, and mountain biking. Recently, I took up golf after a 30-year hiatus, which forced me to trade in my old persimmons. In addition, I occasionally join my son on the motocross track.
